The chestnut barn....was, in part, built in the mid 1800s and used to dry the harvested chestnuts before making flour. The two bedroomed barn which can accommodate up to four guests, has been renovated to a high standard and still retains many of its original features and charm. The barn is tastefully decorated and furnished throughout and is equipped with modern appliances. It is home to the owners during the winter months hence the 'home from home' feel. Secluded but not isolated, the nearest village is only 1km away at the end of a bumpy white communal road.
It is the perfect retreat for those that love walking, cycling, photography, and exploring the various hilltop towns and magnificent abbeys and churches that lie within easy reach. Alternatively the chestnut barn is the ideal place to escape and immerse yourself amongst the stunning scenery and vast array of wildlife.
The town of Arezzo which is famous for its jewellery production and monthly Antiques Market is one of the wealthiest cities in Tuscany and here you will find the rail link to Florence, Pisa, Rome and the rest of Italy.
There is a wide range of fantastic restaurants offering typically Tuscan dishes made with local seasonal produce including Truffles and Porcini mushrooms, all within 10/15 minutes drive from the Chestnut Barn.

The Barn is dog friendly and has an enclosed garden so you do not need to worry about your four legged friend exploring without you.
Smoking or vaping are not permitted inside the barn.
Catering is available at the barn for an additional charge.
